CAA Protest: Situation in Seelampur under control, says Joint Commissioner

New Delhi, Dec 17 (ANI): After protests against the Citizenship (Amendment) Act turned violent in several parts in East Delhi's Seelampur and Zafarabad, clash broke out between protestors and police. "Around 3000 - 4000 people have gathered in Seelampur in the protest. Some of them pelted stones and indulged in arson injuring police personnel. Only tear gas shells used," said Alok Kumar Joint CP of Eastern Range. CP further added, "We are in touch of people of 'Aman committee'."
