Condemnable, beneath contempt to make allegations on Veer Savarkar by Congress: Jay Panda

New Delhi, Jan 03 (ANI): While speaking to ANI in the national capital on January 03, the Vice President and Spokesperson of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Baijayant Jay Panda spoke on matter of Veer Savarkar. He said, "This is despicable to make such allegations about one of the foremost freedom fighter who sacrificed most of his life in British jails." "Congress should ask itself why the late Indira Gandhi herself wrote praising letter to Savarkar for his contribution," he added. "It's bizarre that this party does not know history. It is condemnable and beneath contempt," Baijayant Jay Panda further stated.
