Ecuador, Apr 18 (ANI): The death toll in a devastating earthquake that jolted Ecuador has risen to 246 with 2,527 being injured. Ecuador, which has declared a state of emergency in six provinces, has mobilised around 14,000 army and public security personnel to the affected areas. Ecuador's largest city Guayaquil saw a number of casualties and infrastructure damage. The city also secured eight municipal shelters as safe zones for people to stay in.
