The Economic Survey for 2024-25, tabled in Parliament on Friday, revealed that 73,151 startups have at least one woman director, representing over 48 per cent of the total 152,139 DPIIT-recognised startups. However, on the flip side, the reins of entrepreneurial ownership remain dominantly male-held.
