We The Future (WTF) Founder Kunal Sood uses Clubhouse as a Force for Good in the World
.

Last year amidst the global pandemic Kunal Sood founded We The Future (WTF) as a subsidiary of #WeThePlanet on Clubhouse in October 2020, which is currently the hottest drop-in audio social media app that is on track to disrupt the future of social media. We The Future (WTF) was recently featured in the Clubhouse Apps latest update for its significant contributions to the Clubhouse community of over 10 million users. Sood along with his team is creating the conditions for next generation innovators, explorers, artists and entrepreneurs to have the best shot at attracting the right audience through curated We The Future (WTF) rooms on Clubhouse by inviting Olympic and Paralympic athletes, New York Times bestselling authors, icons in the world of business and entertainment, celebrities and next generation leaders to have purpose-driven conversations that matter addressing the “Future of Everything” ranging from COVID-19 to climate change.
We The Future (WTF) hosts media titans, impact investors, activists, celebrities and influencers that have ranged from Bob Pittman of iHeartMedia who shared his insight on the future of media and audio voice technology, Grammy Award winning composer Ricky Kej who spoke about the importance of climate change and action, artist Raghava KK who shared his thoughts on the NFT revolution, comedian Tiffany Haddish who helped raise funds for Texas during the unprecedented snow storm, Daymond John who shared his insights around becoming a Shark on Shark Tank, iconic influencer Paris Hilton who advocates to end human trafficking, and Andrew Yang, current candidate for New York City Mayor. These are just a few of the incredible human beings that Sood has hosted on Clubhouse in 2021. We The Future (WTF) collaborates and curates rooms like “Imagination in Action” with John Werner to accelerate serendipity and inspire action through authentic dialogue and meaningful connections to help drive impact in the real world.
"We The Future (WTF) was born out of the need I saw for creating a new league of extraordinary citizens in the world, given the fast and accelerated pace at which exponential technology is outpacing our own lives,” explains Sood. “Revolutionary apps like Clubhouse emerging during the pandemic are transforming lives through the power of voice and connection. In leveraging exponential technological innovations and seamless user experience, we can elevate humanity and build the kind of leaders we need here and now at We The Future (WTF) and beyond. We are harnessing the power of voice and collaboration for action in a brave new world."
We The Future (WTF) Club on Clubhouse has gained over 110,000 new members in the last six months and Sood believes this tremendous growth is just the beginning of great things to come. On March 8th 2021, We The Future (WTF) produced the first-ever two day audio-only summit to celebrate International Women’s Day. The goal was to empower and unite women from all around the world in action on Clubhouse allowing people from diverse cities to connect in real time through meaningful dialogue. The event was a great success with a diverse range of speakers from all across the world like Randi Zuckerberg and Loren Ridinger covering a broad range of topics focused on uniting women leaders in action including Clubhouse influencers Fadia Kader, Swan Sit and Kat Cole. The summit was inaugurated by the Executive Director of UN Women, Phumzile Mlambo-Ngcuka who encouraged everyone to join forces with the United Nations in supporting #GenerationEquality.
Prior to the global pandemic and dressed in his signature look of a black Indian traditional suit with red glasses, Sood would normally be at the United Nations General Assembly, busy interacting with heads of state such as presidents of both the United States and island nations to tackle climate change and launch #WeThePlanet with co-founder Laura Muranaka during the UNGA. #WeThePlanet galvanizes world leaders to unite with next generation innovators to solve global grand challenges. In the wake of COVID-19, Sood pivoted to work virtually driving intergenerational impact to create solutions that protect all life on land and under the sea. Sood is passionate about finding effective solutions that drive positive change, and currently is securing necessary capital and resources alongside the world’s most remarkable people to develop and lead projects that help build a better future.
As a world-renowned impact entrepreneur, strategist and curator of the future, Sood is adept at empowering disruptive innovators and social entrepreneurs to turn their dreams into real world impact. From serving in the trenches of the slums in Mumbai to building global movements at the United Nations General Assembly in New York, Sood is focused on making the impossible possible by transforming a billion lives over the next decade. He does this through designing extraordinary immersive experiences both in-person and online since the global pandemic broke out to give everyone a seat at the table and a voice to global citizens worldwide. Sood’s ability to bridge the world of power and influence with meaning and purpose sets him apart from others in his field by bringing together leaders from the bottom of the pyramid to the top. For his groundbreaking work, Sood has received numerous accolades and awards at the United Nations and Tribeca Film Festival as a disruptive innovator, and is a true force to be reckoned with both on Clubhouse, but more importantly, in the real world.
