COVID-19: Doctors disappointed with allotment of poor quality medical equipments in WB's Siliguri

Siliguri (West Bengal), Mar 31 (ANI): The doctors in North Bengal Medical College and Hospital (NBMCH) are disappointed and not satisfied with the allotment of plastic raincoats instead of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) while treating COVID-19 patients. The authority is not supplying face masks, hand gloves and other equipments to doctors. While speaking to ANI, one of the doctors said, "The authority is not able to supply face masks, hand gloves and other equipments. Health workers are not getting anything which is a major concern. If the health workers get infected, then what will be the scenario of health system?" "The authority provided us plastic raincoats instead of PPE, in which we got a black colour sunglass in place of scientific goggles (safety glasses).
