COVID-19: TN confirms 86 new cases of which 85 linked to Nizamuddin Markaz

Chennai, Apr 05(ANI): Tamil Nadu Health Secretary, Beela Rajesh confirmed 86 new coronavirus cases in Tamil Nadu. She said that out of 86, around 85 had attended the Tableeghi Jamaat event at Markaz Nizamuddin, while one had a travel history. Tamil Nadu now has more than 500 cases of coronavirus while 3374 cases have been confirmed so far across the country with 79 deaths and over 250 being cured.
