Dalits attack by upper class mob in TN's Coimbatore

Coimbatore (Tamil Nadu), May 10 (ANI): Discrimination against dalits continued in outskirts of Tamil Nadu's Coimbatore. The incident happened when these people were engaged in a temple festival celebration in Kumittipathi village. Women dalits and devotees were attacked by mobs of upper-class (Gounder) community. Police are deployed in the village to avert further clash between dalits and Gounder community people.
