Ladakh's Pangong Lake attracts large number of tourists

Ladakh (Jammu and Kashmir), June 3 (ANI): Pangong Lake situated at the height of 4350M above sea level is one of the main attraction for visitor both domestic and foreigner with average visitors of 1000 tourists visiting daily. After Hindi films like Aamir Khan's '3 Idiot' and Shah Rukh Khan's 'Jab Tak Hai Jaan', Pangong became an even popular destination. Business too started blooming as the area witnessed a rise in the number of restaurants and camps. Located at distance of 160 kilometres from Leh, it takes about five hours drive from Ladakh. Visitors start their early in the morning to return to Leh by evening. Others choose to spend the night in the tented camp while enjoying the beauty of the lake with evening sun set.
