Mumbai Police check passes, ID cards of people amid coronavirus lockdown

Mumbai, Mar 30 (ANI): Mumbai Police conducted checks on the movement of vehicles at Kurla-Chembur highway on March 30 amid lockdown. They are allowing only those individuals availing or rendering essential services. Police check passes and identity cards of people amid the movement of vehicles during coronavirus lockdown. There are total 186 positive cases of coronavirus in Maharashtra. According to the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, the total number of COVID-19 positive cases rose to 1024 in India (including 901 active cases, 96 cured/discharged/migrated people and 27 deaths).
