Noida Police on alert after violent protests at Jamia: GautamBuddha Nagar SSP

Noida (Uttar Pradesh), Dec 16 (ANI): Following the clash between students and police at Jamia Millia Islamia university in Delhi, local police in neighbouring Noida have been put on alert to mitigate any toward incident. GautamBuddha Nagar SSP Vaibhav Krishna said, "We have put entire Noida Police on alert. Additional QRT teams have been formed. The forces have been mobilised. We will encounter any unpredictable situation deftly." Students of the central university were protesting against the Citizenship Amendment Act after which police personnel were deployed outside the university to maintain law and order. However, the protest turned violent after clash between students and police.
