Watch: Over 15,000 students given saplings by Savitribai Phule Pune University as it attempts Guinness World Record

Pune (Maharashtra), Jun 24 (ANI): In a move to spread awareness about the importance of trees, Savitribai Phule Pune University attempted a Guinness World Record for 'largest distribution of saplings' as it distributed saplings to more than 15,000 students in Maharashtra. The students will be planting the saplings in order to increase the green cover. Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis was the chief guest at the event.
