Dabbawalas to be off roads today amid ongoing Bhima-Koregaon violence

Mumbai, Jan 03 (ANI): In the wake of Maharashtra band called by the Dalit outfits, protesting against the Bhima-Koregaon violence Mumbai Dabbawala association on Wednesday decided not to run its delivery service, fearing the law and order issues in the city. Dabbawala Association head Subhash Talekar confirmed the news and said means of transportation is difficult to find for delivery of tiffins. Meanwhile, section 144 has been imposed in Maharashtra's Thane area till midnight of January 4.
