This follows the decision of Kansai Nerolac Paints, announced in May this year, to build a paint manufacturing plant at Sayakha Industrial Estate in Gujarat, having capacity of 42000 metric tonne per year, at an estimated cost of Rs 350 crores.

The planned expansion at Goindwal Sahib and Gujarat will add to Kansai Nerolac’s existing paint manufacturing capacity. The company at present has five strategically located plants in India at Jainpur (Uttar Pradesh), Bawal (Haryana), Lote, Chiplun (Maharastra), Chennai (Tamil Nadu) and Hosur (Tamil Nadu).
