Of course, it's not enough to just don a race helmet and overalls and march off to the track. If you're going to compete in any of the National Championships, you will need to get yourself a Competition Licence. Different categories of racing and rallying demand different types of licences and all the required forms are available for download on the Federation of Motor Sport Clubs in India (FMSCI) website. Once you've downloaded and filled the forms, you'll have to attach the required medical certificate and photographs and send them off to the FMSCI office. If you are an adult, you will be required to sign the documentation yourself, and a minor requires signed permission from his/her legal guardian.
