Naukri.Com to integrate Facebook features on website

Leading job portal naukri.Com today said it will integrate popular social networking site Facebook's new plug-ins on its site to help users share job postings with their friends.

Naukri.Com would partner with Facebook and feature the 'like' button and 'activity feed' plug-ins on its site, the jobsite said in a statement.

The integration would give users the option to share job postings with their circle of friends and view jobs posted by their friends on Facebook using the Naukri platform, it said.

"Integrating with Facebook will help our jobseekers take the next step up the ladder in social networking and share and discuss job related information with their Facebook contacts. This is an exciting move for us at Naukri and we are certain that this integration will be liked by our users," Info Edge National Head-Marketing and Communications Sumeet Singh said.

Every job posted on Naukri would feature a Like button which when clicked would direct the user to his/her Facebook profile where the job opening would appear as a Wall post.

In addition, the activity feed plug-in would also appear on the Naukri job description page and my Naukri jobseeker page where users can see what their friends on Facebook are posting through the Naukri platform.
