Renault Kwid is undoubtedly one of the most awaited car of 2015 and without much procrastination, the French carmaker had initiated the official bookings for its latest entry level offering on Monday across India to cash in on the buzz that the car has been creating lately. The Kwid can be booked for an amount of Rs 25,000 which is refundable in case someone cancels the booking.
Nissan and Renault have jointly designed a new CMF-A platform on which the Kwid is based. Also, this same platform will be used by Datsun for its future entry level hatch. The Kwid has a very masculine family-inspired front look and the rectangular slats in the front grille give it an SUV like character much like its elder sibling, the Renault Duster.

Kwid is expected to be priced in between Rs. 3 to 4 Lacs which certainly makes it a good value for money proposition considering the space it has on offer with its brilliant ergonomics and can be considered as a better buy over its competitors like the Maruti Alto 800 and the Hyundai Eon. Kwid will come with 4 variants - Std, RxE, RxL and RxT and will host many first-in-class features like Media-Navigation with 7-inch touch-screen display a digital instrument cluster and a huge boot-space of 300-litres. We can expect the car to be launched later this month or by the start of October.
