Bharti Airtel today said it is launching IPTV soon in major cities across the country.
President, Telemedia Services, Bharti Airtel, Atul Bindal, said unlike DTH, IPTV services would be available only in few major cities.
Bindal said Bharti Airtel was the only integrated GSM operator to offer mobile, broadband and digital services to its customers.
The company had recently introduced DTH service in the country.
He said Airtel DTH would be available in 62 cities in the first phase of its rollout.
The company also today introduce DTH services in Kolkata, the second city after Delhi. He said the DTH market would expand exponentially over the coming few years.
Its entry level service packs had been priced at Rs 2,499.
