Rao, a mechanical engineer, to be based in Mumbai, would be responsible for marketing, sales, service and product development, a company statement said.
Beginning his career with Lucas TVS and Ashok Leyland, Rao has worked in several management positions in the company with over 30 years of experience, it said.
