State-run Andhra Bank today reported a growth of 20.16 per cent in its net profit at Rs 330.91 crore for the third quarter ended December 31, 2010.
It had a net profit of Rs 275.39 crore during the same quarter of last fiscal, Andhra bank said in a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange.
The bank also reported a jump of 27 per cent in its total income during the third quarter at Rs 2,320.20 crore as against Rs 1,826.81 crore during the year-ago period.
Andhra bank's net non-performing assets (NPAs) stood at 0.47 per cent during the quarter under review, up from 0.17 per cent in the corresponding quarter of 2009-10.
Its gross NPAs at the end of the third quarter stood at 1.33 per cent, up from 0.87 per cent in the same quarter of last fiscal.
