Aptech inks pact with Universal Commodities Exchange

Partnership to provide training in financial services

Education services firm Aptech, today, announced its three year strategic partnership with Universal Knowledge Management, the training arm of Universal Commodities eXchange (UCX) to provide training to interested individuals in the financial services domain.
 
In the initial phase the partners intend to focus on hands on training in the Commodity, Equity and Forex markets. Short term certificate courses spanning three months, covering the above mentioned markets will be launched in April/May this year.

The initial launch will involve two courses, first one will be a certification program on Commodities market and second one will be a 3-in-1 program for training on Commodity, Equity and Forex markets.

Ninad Karpe, MD & CEO, Aptech said, "Through our association with UCX, in the initial phase, we are focusing on launching short duration courses on commodities market and foray into financial services industry. We look forward to expand the scope of offerings in the space and step into banking and insurance domain soon, covering approximately 20,000 students."

Aptech will launch these courses at the Mumbai and Delhi markets in the initial phase and then gradually expand to cover the country.

UCX will also hold its certification tests through Aptech.
 
As per the agreement, Aptech will take care of branding, marketing & infrastructure, while Universal Knowledge Management will provide content and deliver the training programs.

Ketan Sheth, Chairman UCX India Ltd said that this initiative is the first step in this direction that may lead to more knowledgeable and intellectually empowered set of traders/customers and commodity market watchers.
