Aptech signs a Master Franchisee in Nepal

To now provide IT career courses offered by its retail brands

Aptech will now provide IT career courses offered by its retail brands – Aptech Computer Education and Arena Multimedia in Nepal, too.

Aptech, through the master franchisee, would offer graduate programs in IT, software development and animation and multimedia that are in line with leading international courses.

“We see huge growth potential in the untapped market of Nepal. Currently about 82% of the younger population among 15 – 24 age group is literate. Nepal offers tremendous growth opportunities for training institutes like Aptech to cater to the vast audience comprising of over 50% youngsters willing to develop their career and grow better. Capitalizing on this initiative, we hope to create a strong IT industry ecosystem in Nepal and drive it towards growth," said Ninad Karpe, CEO & MD, Aptech Limited,

Aptech plans to expand the franchisee network for its retail brands in both domestic and international markets by the end of this fiscal year.  This initiative will help the company to develop and strengthen the brand existence internationally.

Aptech is the number two player in the Indian IT training market. Aptech's Arena and MAAC, which commands 80% market share in this segment Currently, there are over 170 arena centres and 70 MAAC centres in India. Arena also has over 52 international centres.
