Areva T&D Q1 net dips 93.24%

Power equipment maker Areva T&D India today said its net profit declined by 93.24 per cent to Rs 3.47 crore for the first quarter ended March 31. Net sales declined to Rs 776.84 crore for the March quarter, compared to Rs 869.90 crore for the same period last financial year, Areva T&D said in a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE). On Friday, shares of Areva T&D closed at Rs 282.35 on the BSE, down 3.34 per cent from its previous close.
