Ariful Hoda takes charge as Officiating CMD of United India Insurance

Hoda began his career as a Direct Recruit Officer of 1980 batch in National Insurance Company

Ariful Hoda has taken charge as the Officiating Chairman-cum- Managing Director of United India Insurance Company Ltd with effect from June 8, 2016. He has been appointed in place of Milind Kharat who has retired as the Chairman-cum-Managing Director on May 31, 2016.

Hoda is an Economics graduate and is a fellow of Insurance Institute of India, said a company release. He began his career as a Direct Recruit Officer of 1980 batch in National Insurance Company and has worked in various capacities in various parts of India including North East region.

He joined United India Insurance Company as Deputy General Manager in August 2008, after 28 years of service in National Insurance Company Ltd and was promoted as General Manager in 2012. He is a Council Member of Insurance Institute of India and is a Director in Agricultural Insurance Company Ltd, Delhi.
