Total income has increased by 11.51 per cent from Rs 2307.8 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2007 to Rs 2573.6 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2008, as per the unaudited results.
The Company has posted a net profit of Rs 469.3 crore for the year ended March 31, 2008, higher by 6.36 per cent as compared to Rs 441.2 crore for the year ended March 31, 2007. Total income has increased by 7.79 per cent from Rs 7238.9 crore for the year ended March 31, 2007 to Rs 7803.1crore for the last year ended March 31, 2008, as per the audited results for the year ended March 31, 2008.
The Board of Directors has recommended a dividend of 150 per cent on the equity shares of the Company, for the year 2007-2008.
