Heavy commercial vehicle maker Ashok Leyland’s total sales in November fell 60.2 per cent on year to 2,307 vehicles from 5,800 vehicles a year ago. The company’s sales in November were 32.1 per cent lower than 3,397 sold a month ago, a company release said today.
The company’s domestic sales during the month fell 66.7 per cent from a year ago to 1,788 vehicles, while exports rose 19.6 per cent to 519.
Domestic sales of medium and heavy commercial vehicles fell 66.7 per cent on year to 1,772 units. The company sold 16 light commercial vehicles in the domestic market in November, down 62.7 per cent from 43 units a year ago.
