Bajaj Finserv, one of the promoter group firms of Bajaj Auto Finance, today consolidated its stake in the company to 50.42 per cent by acquiring shares worth Rs 99.8 crore through open market transaction.
Bajaj Finserv has acquired over 21 lakh shares, representing 5.78 per cent stake of Bajaj Auto Finance at Rs 471.9 a share, aggregating to Rs 99.8 crore, from another promoter group firm Bajaj Holdings & Investment, as per the bulk deal data available on the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE).
As per March quarter shareholding pattern available on the BSE, Bajaj Finserv held 44.64 per cent stake in auto finance company in Bajaj Auto Finance.
Shares of Bajaj Auto Finance today closed at Rs 492.90 on the BSE, up 4.57 per cent from previous close.
