Insurance player Bajaj Finserv today reported more than one-fold jump in its September quarter net profit at Rs 52.77 crore.
The company, which has a presence in life and general insurance space, had a net profit of Rs 21.69 crore during the second quarter of the 2009-10 fiscal, it said in a statement.
Besides, the bank's total income during the period stood at Rs 320.32 crore, compared with Rs 219.48 crore in the previous period, the statement said.
Further, for the half-year ended September 30, 2010, Bajaj Finserv's net profit was recorded at Rs 99.55 crore, as against Rs 36.90 crore during the corresponding period of the previous fiscal, it added.
