The country's second-largest two-wheeler maker Bajaj Auto today reported its highest ever motorcycle sales in a month at 3,29,776 units in October, registering 32.08 per cent jump over the same month last year.
The company had sold 2,49,681 units in October last year, Bajaj Auto (BAL) said in a statement.
The previous highest was achieved in September this year at 3,14,515 units.
BAL's exports went up 31.39 per cent to 1,10,387 units in last month from 84,012 units in October, 2009.
The company reported a rise of 34.64 per cent in its three-wheeler sales during last month at 41,040 units as against 30,481 units during the same month last year.
Total vehicle sales of the company in last month stood at 3,70,816 units compared to 2,80,455 units in the same period a year ago, a growth of 32.22 per cent, the statement said.
