Bharti AXA Investment Managers (BAIM), the joint venture company between Bharti Ventures Limited, AXA Investment Managers and AXA Asia Pacific Holdings is planning to take up its folio count from 14,000 to 50,000 by the end this calender year.
Speaking on the sidelines a press conference in Kolkata, Vikaas M Sachdeva, country head-business development, said “Our company has strategy is to complete the product suite, cut across all segments with a good distribution network and increase the investor count by the end of this year.”
Eastern region had done well, contibuting around 10-11 percent.
The company recently launched its new regular return plan fund and has filed for two more debt funds to SEBI.
The company was targetting around 7-10,000 folios from this new product
At present it had 12,000 investors in its equity fund.
