Total income of Bharti Infratel rose 11.27 per cent to Rs 2,674 crore during the fourth quarter of FY13, compared to Rs 2,403 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous financial year.
“Despite a relatively low capex deployment by telecom operators last year due to uncertainties in the telecom sector, our result reflects the significant incremental gain from increased sharing of our infrastructure,” said a company official. Bharti Infratel reported revenues of Rs 10,272 crore for FY13. The company had raised more than Rs 4,118 crore through an initial public offering (IPO) in December 2012.
