Former Titan managing director Bhaskar Bhat has taken over as chairman of Vistara following retirement of current chairman Prasad Menon.
Bhat joined the board today.
As the managing director of Titan Company Limited since 2002 and founding member of Titan Industries, Bhat has led it to become largest watch manufacturer in India and the fifth largest in the world.
In a statement Bhat said, "Vistara is founded on common values of the Tata group and Singapore International Airlines (SIA). My focus will be on ensuring that Vistara continues to deliver the legendary service excellence and hospitality that the Tata group and SIA are known for."
