BHEL to enter into JV with KEL and AECL

State-owned Bharat Heavy Electrical today said it would set up a joint venture with Kerala Electrical & Allied Engineering Company for manufacturing products for railways and other industries.

The JV will cater to core sectors like transportation, renewable energy and some other industries by manufacturing a specific range of products, the company said in a statement.

BHEL today signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with KEL in the presence of Minister for Heavy Industries and Public Enterprises Santosh Mohan.

Further, BHEL has already installed over 1,00,000 MW of power generating capacity worldwide.
