Big Entertainment buys rights for 'Karzzz'

The film will be a remake of cult classic and huge hits of eighties called Karz. The original Karz was starred by Raj Kiran and Rishi Kapoor.

This is the second of Himesh's three ventures with T-series owner Bhushan Kumar, where he combines his acting skills with his musical talent. The singer-music composer made his acting debut with "Aap Ka Suroor" last year.

Himesh will also score a hat-trick by acting, singing and composing the music for the film. The starcast includes Urmila Matondkar, Raj Babbar, Danny Denzongpa, Gulshan Grover, Rohini Hattangadi and debutant Shweta Kumar, daughter of filmmaker Indra Kumar. Karzzz is scheduled for release later this year.
