Blue Dart opens new service unit in Valsad

Blue Dart, one of the leading logistics companies in South Asia, has set up a new service centre at Valsad in South Gujarat.

With the launch of this service centre, Blue Dart will offer Valsad an entire range of products and services, both air and ground, domestic and international. The new service centre will cater to all the vital industries of the area, especially banking and insurance, small and medium enterprises and other private firms.

"Apart from this, retail customers will also be able to avail the company's logistics services in sending documents and parcels for their individual needs," said Samir Shah, regional head–West 2, Blue Dart Express Ltd.

Blue Dart, a part of the DHL group, has presence in all the important cities and towns of the state, including Ahmedabad, Navsari, Billimora, Surat, Ankleshwar, Vadodara, Anand, Nadiad, Halol, Rajkot, Bhavnagar, Gandhidham, Jamnagar and Vapi. Valsad is the latest addition to the list.

The initiative will enable Blue Dart to provide quick turnaround and prompt response to business needs, ensuring next day deliveries from the region to all major metros and key cities. It would also service DHL customers in the region.
