Bosch group, which is celebrating the 125th year of its establishment in 2011, plans to adopt 25 schools and improve their infrastructure across the country.
“Bosch is celebrating 125th year of its establishment globally. This is an occasion for us to reiterate, assimilate and appreciate the values that have made Bosch a successful organisation and a great contributor to society over many decades,” said V K Vishwanathan, president, Bosch India and managing director, Bosch Limited.
Bosch is a supplier of technology and services to original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) in the automobile sector. As part of the celebrations, Bosch will focus on promoting education as an extension of its corporate social responsibility (CSR).
Bosch came to India in 1922 and started its manufacturing operations in 1953 in Bangalore. Today, the Bosch group comprises six companies with 13 manufacturing units.
