BS TransComm, an end to end Turnkey Services and Technology Solutions Provider to Power T&D and Telecom Sector has announced today that its consortium has bagged the project worth Rs 300 crore from Rural Electrification Corporation (REC) through a tariff based Global Competitive Bidding on Build-own-operate-maintain (BOOM) basis for establishment of 765 KV transmission system associated with Krishnapattanam Ultra Mega Power Plant.
This transmission system project is for the construction of the synchronous interconnection between the southern region and western region spanning 210kms from Raichur to Sholapur and operation & maintenance for a period of 35 years. The project is estimated to complete by March, 2014.
