Ceat Q4 net dips 41% to Rs 45 cr

Tyre manufacturer Ceat today said its net profit dipped by 41.47 per cent to Rs 45.03 crore for the fourth quarter ended March 31, 2009, from the same period a year ago.     

The company had a net profit of Rs 76.94 crore for the same quarter ended March 2008, Ceat said in a filing to the BSE. The total income slipped to Rs 631.20 crore for the quarter under review, from Rs 652.37 crore in the same quarter last fiscal.     

Shares of Ceat were trading at Rs 53.30, up 11.16 per cent on the BSE.
