Citi's new retail head

Citibank has appointed Sharad Mohan as the new retail head of India operations. He will be responsible for the retail banking business, which comprises Citi's client segments, distribution channels, wealth management and transaction products including investments, insurance, and liabilities.  

Prior to this Mohan was heading sales and distribution since May 2013. Before taking up this role, he was chief operating officer for the consumer bank for two years. He will be replacing Ashish Mehrotra who was earlier heading the retail division.
