City Union Bank PAT up 11%

Total Income up 9% at Rs 883 crore; gross NPAs rise from 2.01% to 2.62%

City Union Bank has posted a growth of 11 per cent in profit after tax at Rs 123.52 crore during the quarter ended June 30, 2016, as compared to Rs 111.56 crore registered during the same quarter of previous fiscal year.

Total Income recorded a growth of 9 per cent at Rs 883.31 crore during the quarter, as compared to Rs 810.93 crore during the corresponding quarter of last year.

Gross Non-Performing Assets (NPA) stood at Rs 555.03 crore, or 2.62 per cent as against Rs 3,594.73 crore (2.01 per cent) during same quarter of last year. The Net NPA gew to Rs 333.98 crore (1.59 per cent) during the quarter from Rs 234.32 crore (1.32 per cent) registered during the same period of previous year.
