The founder of Cloudnine Hospital, a chain of maternity, pre and post natal care hospital, Rohit M A, invested in Parentlane, a mobile app and a technology company focused on child development.

Rohit has made an undisclosed amount of investments under his investment arm Capier Investments. Parentlane, a social platform for new parents, plans to use DataScience, Machine Learning to map a child development and deliver personalised recommendation to the community engaging on the platform.

"We believe that his (Rohit) strategic inputs on helping new age parents during early child development would be greatly valuable as we ramp up the offerings on the Parentlane app and evolve as the most trusted brand among parents during this life changing experience," said Vijay Anand, co-founder, Parentlane.

The Parentlane app helps new parents after the child is born and the early child development lifecycle covering all aspects of growth and development, brain development activities for kids, food recipes and tips for parents during the journey.

The app also allows parents to easily record and securely share pictures or notes of their child development progress with a relevant group of people connected in their network and share their experience by creating posts covering all aspects of child development. The company is incubated at Accel Partners Launch pad, Bengaluru.

"We realise that today's city-educated millennial generation needs precise and personalised information related to their child as they become parents. I believe Parentlane team has done a great job in leveraging technology to deliver personalised guidance to support parents during their early child development cycle and I am personally excited with their plans in delivering superior value to the entire parenting community," said Rohit.
