For companies throughout the Asia-Pacific, the decision to outsource the human resources (HR) function is tied largely to the benefits of cost reduction and for an opportunity to focus more on core competencies.

Of those companies that do take the leap of faith in the near future, the two most commonly outsourced functions are expected to be payroll processing, and training and development.

While there are some companies who may hold back due to a perceived lack of suitable HR outsourcing vendors and apprehension over the quality of vendors.
