Corporation Bank net marginally up by 1.2% to Rs 406 crore

Total income of the bank for the second quarter has gone up 17% to Rs 4,070 crore as against Rs 3,480 crore in the year ago period

Mangalore-based public sector lender Corporation Bank on Friday reported a marginal rise of 1.2% in net profit at Rs 406 crore for the second quarter ended September 2012 compared to Rs 401 crore in the corresponding quarter last year.

The total income of the bank for the second quarter has gone up 17% to Rs 4,070 crore as against Rs 3,480 crore in the year ago period.

Shares of Corporation Bank were trading 0.53% lower at Rs 402 on the BSE at 1330 hrs.
