DLF to sell two windmill projects for Rs 241 cr

Projects are located in Rajasthan and Tamil Nadu

Real estate major DLF today said that it will sale its windmills in Tamilnadu and Rajasthan to two different companies as part of its stated objective of divesting its non core assets.  

Accordingly DLF has entered into definitive agreements with Tulip Renewable Powertech Private Limited and Violet Green Power Private Limited for sale of windmills in Tamilnadu and Rajasthan respectively.

While Tamilnadu windmill project will fetch DLF Rs 189 crore, the windmill in Rajasthan will be sold for lump sum of Rs 52 crore.

All the assets and liabilities will be transferred to new owners, DLF informed exchanges.

Tamilnadu windmill capacity is 34.5 megawatt (MW) while Rajasthan’s windmill capacity is 33 MW.

Both windmill projects were owned by DLF’s  wholly owned subsidiary  DLF Home Developers.
