It was started in 2013 by Ankita Puri, who has an engineering and health care background, and Sunita Maheshwari, a health care expert. With their interest in telemedicine services, the company has 70 professionals in India and abroad, offering services not only from India but from Australia, Singapore, the US, UK and others.
It plans to launch an app in May and 24x7 service in the next few months. The company is set to close an angel-round funding, led by cricketer Robin Uthappa's Caffeine Ventures fund. Puri says it would be used to grow the market, increase awareness about the brand and product development.
It would expand panellists to 500 by the end of this year and take its services to West Asia and Southeast Asian countries by early next year. Another round of funding is in the offing in the next six to eight months.
