Elecon bags orders worth Rs 40.35 cr

Ahmedabad-based Elecon Engineering Company Limited on Monday said its material handling equipment division had received orders to the tune of Rs 40.35 crore for various design, engineering, manufacturing and installation works. One of the largest material handling equipment, industrial gears and transmission products manufacturers, Elecon has bagged these orders from Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL) for Rs 5.92 crore, BSBK Engineers Pvt Ltd for Rs 18.75 crore, and IRIKA Engineering and Commercial Services GMBH for Rs 15.68 crore, a release said here.
