The amount in the escrow account has gone up to Rs 322.27 crore from the earlier value of Rs 313.27 crore. The assets of Nsel directors attached by EOW so far is worth Rs 441.94 crore according to the book of accounts.
Currently, eow is scrutinizing the brokers involvement in this scam with the documents they have submitted and also from the NSEL data. There are around 200 brokers who have been called by the police for interrogation. Some brokers have already been called in for investigation and are being interrogated by the police.
The police had earlier said that many of the directors of broking firms have made adjustments upto 95% in their own personal accounts.
