Era Infra Q2 profit jumps 65% to Rs 59 cr

Era Infra Engineering today posted a jump of 65 per cent in net profit at Rs 58.90 crore for the second quarter ended September 30, over the same period a year ago.

The engineering firm's revenues rose to Rs 835.37 crore during the latest quarter of the current fiscal from Rs 418.96 crore in the corresponding period a year earlier, Era Infra said in a statement.

For the half-year ended September 30, 2009, the company posted a net profit of Rs 111.71 crore, up 74 per cent as compared to Rs 64.06 crore in the corresponding period last year.
