Leading sports broadcaster ESPN today said it has almost sold the entire advertisement inventory for the upcoming Airtel Champions League League T20, to be held from October 8.
"We are delighted with the response from advertisers and are confident that we will set new benchmarks in the inaugural edition," ESPN Star Sports Managing Director Manu Sawhney said.
The broadcaster has already sold 75 per cent of the available ad inventory on the league.
According to industry sources, the broadcaster is aiming to earn Rs 275 crore from the T20 league, which will be held in India from October 8 to 23.
Some of the sponsors who have already invested in the tournament include title rights holder Airtel, Havells, Mirc Electronics, Pepsi, SONY India and Maruti Suzuki among others.
