Packaging major Essel Propack has posted 23.4 per cent rise in its consolidated net profit at Rs 48.9 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2016 as against Rs 39.6 crore for the comparable quarter last year.
Total income from operations, however, jumped by a marginal by 2.8 per cent to Rs 561.4 crore for January-March 2016 quarter compared to Rs 545.9 crore for the same quarter previous year.
The company's consolidated revenue for the financial year 2015-16 jumped by a marginal 3 per cent to Rs 2,134.6 crore from Rs 2,071.5 crore in the previous year. It's consolidated net profit jumped by a staggering 32.5 per cent to Rs 1,76.7 crore for the full financial year 2015-16 compared to Rs 133.4 crore in the previous year.

The company is on track with its mission for future business growth. Its net profit continues to grow healthy with five year CAGR of 33 per cent. Underlying revenue growth continues outside of India; India is now showing signs of growth, along with operational efficiencies and focus on non-oral care, the business is poised to sustain profitable growth."
